Counseling sessions are 50-55 minutes long. My rate is $180/session. All payment is expected at the beginning of the counseling sessions. Please call (804-213-2378) to schedule an appointment.

All of my sessions are conducted virtually, over a HIPAA-compliant video platform. My clinical hours are between 9am to 2pm, Monday through Friday.  My mailing address is 9702 Gayton Road, #145, Richmond, VA 23238.

I accept Anthem BCBS insurance and private pay. If you are planning to use your insurance benefits, please confirm with Anthem directly about whether or not I am a provider on your specific plan, and whether your specific plan will cover Telehealth sessions.

The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) is an interstate compact designed to facilitate the practice of therapy across state boundaries. I have an E.Passport (mobility number 6065) which grants me the ability to work with clients in other PSYPACT states. As of March 2025, there are 42 states participating in PSYPACT. You can check the most updated list of PSYPACT-participating states here

If you have out-of-network mental health benefits on your insurance plan and want to submit the claim to the insurance company yourself, the information you need to complete the paperwork will be included on the receipt I provide to you. A credit card on file is required, and you will be responsible for paying the full fee at the time of service.

Good Faith Estimate: If you are not using insurance to pay for your therapy, I will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) at the beginning of your treatment. In 2022, a ruling went into effect called the “No Surprises Act” which requires practitioners to provide a GFE to individuals who are uninsured or utilize self-pay. The GFE works to show the cost of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for an item or service, a diagnosis, and a reason for mental health services. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. The GFE does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur and will be provided a new GFE should this occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill if you and your provider have not previously talked about the change and you have not been given an updated GFE. Note: The Public Health Service Act (PHSA) and GFE do not currently apply to any individuals who are using insurance benefits, including “out of network benefits” (i.e., submitting superbills to insurance for reimbursement).
